MyPrevention online community is the only no-cost social network that brings together professionals from all reaches of the prevention landscape, including: ATOD Prevention, Mentoring, Public Health, Violence Prevention, Child Welfare, Education, Gambling Prevention and Research. We encourage you to utilize this site to network with one another and identify opportunities through collaboration. We currently have over 3500 members registered on the site. Our goal is to have over 10,000 members before the end of the year. Please help us reach this goal by inviting your staff, colleagues and community partners to become members.

| 31st Annual CA Assoc. of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors Statewide Conference
The CAADAC/CFAAP 31st Annual Conference is coming to Sacramento, California this year and MyPrevention.org will be exhibiting at this great event. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Sacramento on September 29th through October 2nd, 2011.
MyPrevention will be showcasing, "Indicators of Substance Abuse Consequences” (ISAC-California) an interactive, web-based data tool that provides easy-to-use and up-to-date information on the health and social consequences of alcohol and drug abuse for California county populations. We hope you can attend this conference and tryout the ISAC-California data tool at our exhibit booth. You also have the opportunity to sign-up and use the system for your own data analytical needs.

National Prevention Network Conference: Sept 21st - 23rd
The Center for Applied Research Solution (CARS) and MyPrevention.org will be exhibiting together at the National Prevention Network (NPN) conference on September 21st through September 23rd in Atlanta, Georgia. Please stop by our exhibit booth and pickup CARS' prevention publications and check out our interactive video display, showcasing many of our web-based resources.

ThugExposed.org – Gang & Drug Prevention
 Rayford L. Johnson is the director and founder of ThugExposed.Org and author of the book Thug Mentality Exposed. ThugExposed.Org is a gang and drug prevention organization/ministry, which provides workshops, on-line guidance and a gallery of gang and drug prevention videos at no cost to the community.
Johnson, a licensed minister was a Youth Correctional Counselor for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for 13 years and has been a counselor for at risk youth for over 20 years.
